SERVING AUSTIN SINCE 1952
Child Care
The Ebenezer Child Development Center was founded in 1952. It grew out of the vision, prayers and perseverance of Reverend Robert L. Rowe, former pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Community Centered Growth
Ebenezer Child Development Center has licensed capacity to serve the needs of over 160 children; 2 months to 5 years. The Center is located in downtown Austin and is designed to meet the needs of growing Austin area families.
Centered Growth
Our CPR & First-Aid certified teachers spend time with each child in a low child/teacher ratio class. The Center offers spanish, art, gym and music classes in addition to our daily curriculum. Hot meals are prepared for each child: breakfast, lunch and snack. Because Ebenezer is apart of the Department of Agriculture's nutrition program, we provide nutritious meals three times a day. We love all of God's children, no matter the race, creed or religion.
Our Purpose
Ebenezer Child Development Center is organized exclusively for low income and educational purposes within the guidelines of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. All funds, whether income or principal and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
